Well its time to make this build public. Even though I do not think anyone will read this page that is interested.
However, I am currently building a rocket that will hopefully break the current I motor record. I will include as many details as I can but do not want to disclose too much information as I do not want anyone to steal my ideas and beat me to the record.
First, the body tube was rolled by Alex or AKSROCKETS on the Rocketry Forum. Currently it is still in a peel ply finish and I will be working to polish the tube.
The only progress is the attempt to straighten up the edges of the rocket to make it perfectly straight. I attempted to use the Jim Jarvis method with a laser pointer I have but have to work out a few kinks to get everything in place.
In the gallery below it will show the attempt and the simulation of the altitude.
